On September 11th, the TSA observes two moments of silence at 8:46am and 9:03am. Those are the times the planes hit the Twin Towers in 2001. My only problem with this sign is the apology to the passengers for the brief interruption of service. No apology is needed to honor the moment when so many brave people lost their lives.
For me, like for so many others, 9-11 changed our lives and I re-enlisted into the military after that event so that I, too, could serve.
Never forget.
See you tomorrow.
