In mid-October, I had to get my car inspected and it turned out, in order to get the
Check Engine light to go off, I needed a new catalytic converter. Well, after I drove for 20 miles the
Check Engine light came back on. Mike, my mechanic, ran the codes through his computer and it turns out the catalytic converter he put in was faulty. So, here is a picture of my car sitting in his lot, waiting to get fixed.
Turns out the 2nd new catalytic converter is good but now a light went out for another reason.(coolant code and O2 sensor code)...go figure. Mike says to wait the two years before the inspection is due again so he can take care of the
Check engine light. Oh, the joys of owning a car.
