Day 43~ Remembering Pearl Harbor!

Bill Smith, WWII Vet, displaying his Ship
Yesterday, was December 7th, the anniversary of the bombing of Pearl Harbor.  I was going through some old pictures and came across one of this. He is Bill Smith and he is a War World II Veteran. Our church has a scouting group called "Caravaan" and they invited all the vets in our church to come speak to the kids on, I believe, Veteran's day last year.  There was a sizable amount of veterans there and I was one of them but, by far, the most interesting person to listen to, was Bill Smith. He is a humble man who really doesn't like to speak in public but he became animated as he talked to the kids about his 20 year Navy career.

God bless this man from the greatest generation, a man I can call a friend!

See you tomorrow!
